Designed with a durable hard plastic exterior in a feminine pink, this device will receive top marks from the princess in residence. Big buttons on the front of the player are well-placed and easy for smaller kids to use. Kids can also control the show with the handheld remote control, appropriately sized for a child’s hand although containing more and smaller buttons that may be suitable for older princesses. The remote features a rewind button to view the scene where Sleeping Beauty is awakened by the prince’s kiss over and over again; a fast-forward button to skim over the scary scene where the witch offers Snow White the poison apple; and a pause button for potty breaks.
