A great product for the money
I bought this DVD player as a gift so I haven't been living with it on a daily basis. Hooked into the component inputs of a Samsung monitor, the resolution and color it produces are amazing. The person who uses it is housebound and has the 'heavy' subscription to NETFLIX, so she probably watches 2 or more DVDs a day. Last time we spoke, she still seemed extremely happy with this unit.

amazing DVD player - great value! even plays AVIs
This player is awesome. Especially now at $48, it's an amazing value! Will even play AVIs burned onto a DVD (DVD-RW worked no problem). Definitely recommend this to anyone, as it's so cheap and does so much. With a simple procedure to enter a code, it can be turned into a region free player. The beauty of software controlled features! ;-)

My roommate bought this DVD player in September and now, in November, its breaking!
