skips and freezes a lot
The description sounded great; therefore, I bought this unit in January 2005 to play my region 1 and 2 DVDs on a NTSC TV. I had to replace the unit since because of the poor quality of the output. The picture skips and freezes frequently. Also the 'NO DISC' sign burned out to show only 'DISC' when there isn't any DVD in the unit.
