Performs as advertised
I bought mine to do a project involving recording a ton of old movie footage to DVD. I hooked up an Elmo film chain to it and the result is entirely satisfactory.

Sleek but complicated
I purchased 6 of these for work. Of that 6, three have to be sent back for repairs. Not a good percentage.
