Thank you Amazon and all the reviewers. I was looking at local (Reno) store ads on Thanksgiving Day and decided to look at consumer reviews on Amazon. I soon found this model TH-42PX60U. Impressed by those who took time to write and had done much research before buying, I took the plunge.

Excellent Value
| I originally purchased the EDTV panasonic 42" (TH-42PD60U) and traded up to this one because it went on sale for $60 more within 30 days... this unit does not have the ideal picutre settings out of hte box, but I used the Avia DVD and reset to those specs - UNBELIEVABLE picture, especially in HD, standard cable looks soft, but OK, digital cable looks great, and HD channels are unreal - nearly 3D... haven't tried a DVD yet, but am sure it will look good. I got this at my local Tweeter Store for $1259! Hard to find another 42" TV with these features and this picture quality for that price. |

The Absolute Perfect Television for entry-level HD consumers that wanna keep it under $1,500.
After finding out that the Playstation 3 looked even better with an HDTV, more so than a standard TV, I knew that it was time to go ahead and purchase one. I combed the Internet, looking at all sorts of Television review sites to find the BEST TV AT THE MOST AFFORDABLE PRICE. The Panasonic TH-42PX60U(This TV) was just the set that I had been looking for. Of all of the HD Plasmas and LCDs, it was this television that always scored the highest, at the cheapest price of course. Not to mention the fact that Panasonic is a TOP-TIER Plasma TV manufacturer.
