The best walkman
| In the past I have owned expensive walkmen from Aiwa, Sony and others (more than $100.00) thinking the more expensive the better..not true. This walkman from Philips is so durable and looks really attractive...uncommon. The sound quality is in par with the best of them ( I compared ). However, if you would like to enjoy the full sound potential of this walkman, buy a good headphone and use the supplied headphone for jogging (it never falls). I would like to say that 4 of my friends bought it when they saw it with me and checked it out. Great walkman! |

Didn't work for me for running
| I purchased this item online thinking it was much smaller but it is actually quite large and heavy. It has a clip but when I tried clipping it to my shorts, it was too heavy and bulky. The cassette reception was good but the FM radio reception was terrible - staticky. |

Philips Scores A Home Run!
| The Philips AT668817 AM/FM Sports Stereo Cassette Player is a definite home run! It's unique styling and water-resistant design is the perfect fit when you want to listen to music while jogging, working out, etc. The radio reception is excellent; the cassette player works very well when subjected to the jolts encountered when moving. It even has a LCD clock! I had been using the Sony Sports Walkman previously, but I have been very happy with this competitor. The only drawback is that the headphones (ear buds that are housed in a holder that fits around the ear) allow a little too much outside noise. But if you are jogging on a public street, this may be a plus for you! |
