the a520 Camera doesnt last very long
| The A520 Camera does take good pictures but the batteries don't last; i dont even have this camera a year yet and the batteries keep dieing. Canon is a very good name but i dont recommend cameras that take regular batteries, they die out way to quickly. |

Great camera!
| We bought this camera some time ago and love it. Canon has great optics and a great processor, so the pictures are great. The camera is easy to use, yet there are also many features that advanced users will love, like the ability to change the way the camera focuses, settings for flourescent lights and settings for action photos. The camera uses AA batteries, so using rechargeables is efficient and you can always use regular batteries in a pinch. The camera is well made and sturdy. Can't think of much more you could ask for! |

OK camera, but fragile
| I've had this camera for precisely a year, and it's already collapsed entirely twice and been sent back for repair. There were also smaller breakdowns I just chose to live with, like the card cover coming detached. Great when it's working, but it doesn't stand up to serious consumer use. |
