Noisy!
When I first bought this camera, I thought it was awesome. Nice feature-set and a good degree of manual control. My other camera is a Canon DSLR, so I wanted something less bulky and one that had a familiar set of menus. This scores on both counts.

IS Rules!!!
main reason i bought this camera is the IS. i just want a simple point and shoot camera in replacement of my old Casio camera, almost ended up purchasing the Casio EX-Z850(nice 8MP and anti-shake dsp), until I learned that Image stabilization is way way better than anti-shake.

Love the Canon SD700IS!
| Our family purchased this camera during the summertime, and we love it! The image stabilization really helps to eliminate problems caused by normal hand shaking. The quality of the photos is very pleasing, and we use the video option all the time to capture short segments, like seeing the kids doing something memorable. Also, the 4x zoom comes in very handy for getting a little closer (we're used to cameras with 3x zoom). I'd highly recommend this camera! |
