Using the Olympus 300M in podcasting
I am a teacher who has been experimenting with podcasting my classes. After using an iPod with a Belkin add-on microphone, we decided to try the 300-M and we could not be more pleased with the results. At a significant fraction of the cost of an iPod, we get sound quality at least as good, a built-in microphone, and a somewhat easier transfer system. I set the recorder up on my desk and it clearly picks up not only me but the voices of the students as well.

Just what I expected!
| Light, easy to carry and to record; Enough memory for me (I record my daily conversations with people in every possible occasions to improve my English speaking proficiency and pronunciation; Good sound quality both as the recorder and player. The packet includes even ear-phones! I haven't tried to listen to music on it yet, though. |
