Great device, but too big.
I actually bought this for $329 from CompUSA (it was $379 on Amazon at the time), and it's a great unit but it's just too big. It's far longer than a typical VCR or DVD player, meaning it sticks out a few inches from me TV stand. I was going to buy a new TV stand but the three models I liked were also too short for this gadget. It's just a much larger DVD unit than most typical devices, it seems. Performance-wise, it's great. There was not enough speaker cable to run the read speakers around the edge of my small apartment bedroom, but other than that it's been nice the past week I've had it.

great system
| This system does everything you would expect from a home theater system, and looks nice to boot. And to correct the poster below, it does play burned dvds. The only problem is it does not include audio connectors to hook up the T.V.'s sound to the receiver, but they can be bought very cheaply. |
