TOSHIBA PRODUCTS SUCK!
| We have purchased hundreds of computers for our business and home and recently we purchased a Toshiba instead of the usual Dell products. BAD decision. We have had this laptop for 6 months and it has been at the Toshiba repair center more than it has in our use. Thier tech support is terrible, there is no direct contact for Customer Service and even when you have a ligitamate complaint, they will find a way to make it YOUR (the customer) fault. With extensive documentation we were able to stop every one of thier excuses until finally they just said..."well sorry--there is nothing we can do" so i suggest you purchase your electronics from a company who is willing to stand behind them and who will appreciate YOU as a current and future customer. That is NOT Toshiba's mission I can assure you! |

Went through 2 units with skipping problems
The one star is for battery life. Otherwise incredibly frustrating to go through two players both with unpredictable stutter and skip problems on different disks.

Very good performance for its size.
| I have been very satisfied with the features and performance of this DVD player thus far. It is easy to use esp with its handy remote and while the battery pack is rather big, it does sit at the rear of the player inconspicuously and has a long life unplugged. I have been able to watch 3-hr movies so far without any need for recharging. The sound from the speakers is very crisp and it also has a surround sound effect. However, it can sound just a little "tinny" when the volume is turned up all the way. You can however hook it up to your own audio system if you want better sound quality. Otherwise, I would say that this is a very good product with many great features. |
