Best for the price...
I recently purchased the Sony DVPNS75H. I am very pleased with the quality of the upconverted dvd video.

Don't Believe The Hype
I went out and bought this player because I wanted the best HD picture possible on my Sony 42" HDTV. I already have a Sony Progressive Scan DVD player thats about a year old but I wanted to see what kind of difference there was between the two. I got this DVD player home, connected it through the HDMI cable (not included) and was SHOCKED. I had both players hooked up at the same time and was very accurately able to tell the difference after watching the same scene from the same movie on both player (the movie was superman returns) . NONE. It looked exactly the same with no noticable difference. I was extremely dissapointed.

Not up to the expectation
This one is no better than normal component video out put. I tested this with my other DVDplayer with a component video out put on a 58 inch panasonic plasma. I could not make any difference between this player and that one.
