slow satellite signal acquiring
this small gps is compact and quite useful but what bothers me is when acquiring satellite signal, this guy goes slow,in sunny day, takes about 5 minutes, if start driving, it's been 2 miles or thru a couple of turns already, if I know which way I should take. but if in a complete unfamiliar area, I have to stay put until the signal come out. in a rainy day, no signal at all for whole day once in Washington DC area, comes out next day when sunny, again takes 5 min. to start to work. I guess that it may need a antenna to solve this problem, but it cost $60, sure expensive. Anyone got tip?

Don't bye if your dashboard is not flat!
This "frog" {as I called this device by analogy of rubber toy frog}. didn't work for me at all. I have Scion'06 xA with very sloppy dashboard and this frog kept jumping up and sliding off on every small bump of the road and needed constant adjustment. Suction cup worked perfectly fine.

WELL worth the money
First, let me say I am not a spokesman for Garmin. But, this accessory is great. I had the original windshield mount, but when it got hot it melted to the windshield. So much for the suction pad. This friction mount pad is great. It doesn't move at all even on sharp turns. I highly recommend this to everyone. To me Garmin would be smart to add a little to the price, and send this with the GPS.
